Intensive Community Based Support Services

Comprehensive Child & Family Treatment (CCFT)

High-intensity, time-limited, goal-specific services designed to provide stabilization and deter the ‘imminent’ risk of State custody for the child/youth.

CCFT services concentrate on child/family/guardian behaviors and interactions with the goal of reaching an appropriate point of stabilization so the individual can be transitioned to a less intensive outpatient service.

CCFT services can be provided in home, community, or office-based settings using a frequency appropriate for the intensity and imminent risk presented by the clinical situation.

CCFT services can include therapeutic and/or skills training interventions that support improved functioning of the child/youth and the family unit so the imminent crises are averted. Services are designed to utilize and foster individual and family strengths and utilization of community supports.

Continuous Treatment Team (CTT)

Coordinated multidisciplinary teams that provide a range of intensive, integrated mental health case management, treatment, and rehabilitation services to adults, adolescents, and children in a family constellation.

CTTs are designed to provide intensive treatment for adults or families with children at risk of placement in a more restrictive level of care. Services can include:

*Crisis intervention
*Counseling
*Skills building
*Therapeutic intervention
*Advocacy
*Educational services
*Medication management
*School-based services

CTT services are flexible, multi-purpose, in-home/community clinical support for individuals with behavioral and emotional disturbances. The purpose of these interventions is to strengthen available supports and stability to preserve and enhance quality of life in the community setting. These services are flexible both as to where and when they are provided based on individual client needs.
